Partners

BioInvent has several existing partnerships with top-class biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and is keen to expand on these partnership programmes. Two of BioInvent's products have been partnered with major companies that have proven skills in antibody commercialisation. These collaborations, with Roche for TB-403 (angiogenisis inhibitor) and Genentech for BI-204 in North America (atherosclerosis treatment) are maximising the probability of success for these products as well as facilitating the future strategic development of BioInvent.

Through research and development collaborations with selected industry and academic partners, BioInvent is able to tap into world-leading expertise in areas that are key to the Company's success. For example, BioInvent has a long-term collaboration with ThromboGenics to co-develop antibody-based drugs aimed at vascular indications and cancer, and has been working closely with Professor Jan Nilsson from the Department of Medicine at Malmö University Hospital, Sweden for a number of years.

By providing our expertise in antibody discovery and manufacturing to world-leading companies, BioInvent receives significant revenues. Such partners have included Bayer, sanofi-aventis and ImmunoGen.
