Lund, Sweden – 19 July 2018 – BioInvent International AB (OMXS: BINV) partner ThromboGenics NV has today reported Day 150 topline results from a Phase l/ll, single-masked, multicentre study (THR-317-001) evaluating the safety and efficacy of 2 dose levels (4 mg and 8 mg) of THR-317 for the treatment of diabetic macular edema (NCT03071068).

The study met its primary endpoint of safety for both the 4 mg and 8 mg doses. Whilst the focus of the study was safety, efficacy was also observed.

ThromboGenics carries all costs for the development of THR-317 and BioInvent is entitled to five percent of the project's economic value.
